- Respect room culture: Observe how conversations flow and adapt your participation style accordingly
- Follow moderator guidance: Comply with specific instructions or requests from room moderators
- Avoid cross-room drama: Don't bring conflicts or arguments from other rooms into new spaces
5. Moderation and Enforcement
5.1 Our Moderation Approach
A Big Chat employs a combination of automated systems, volunteer moderators, and staff oversight to enforce these guidelines. While we strive to address violations promptly, real-time monitoring of all conversations is not feasible. Users play a crucial role in maintaining community standards by reporting violations when they occur.
5.2 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the nature and severity of violations, we may take the following actions:
- Content Removal: Deletion of messages or content that violates guidelines
- Warnings: Formal notifications about policy violations with expectations for behavioral change
- Temporary Mutes: Temporary restriction on sending messages in specific rooms or platform-wide
- Temporary Suspensions: Time-limited account suspension ranging from hours to weeks
- Permanent Bans: Indefinite account termination with IP-level blocks for serious or repeated violations
- Reporting to Authorities: In cases involving illegal activity, credible threats, or serious safety concerns, we may report information to law enforcement
5.3 Factors Considered in Enforcement
When determining appropriate enforcement actions, moderators consider:
- Severity of the violation and potential for harm
- User's history of violations and previous warnings
- Whether the violation was intentional or inadvertent
- Context and circumstances surrounding the incident
- User's response when confronted about the violation
5.4 Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at privacy@c3mediamarketing.com. Appeals should include:
- Your username and account details
- Date and description of the enforcement action
- Clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
- Any relevant context or evidence supporting your appeal
We will review appeals in good faith, but enforcement decisions are made at our discretion and may not be reversed. Decisions on appeals are final.
6. Reporting Violations
6.1 How to Report
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately using one of the following methods:
- Use the built-in reporting feature within the chat interface
- Contact a moderator directly if one is present in the room
- Email detailed reports to privacy@c3mediamarketing.com
6.2 What to Include in Reports
Effective reports help us respond quickly and appropriately. Please include:
- Username(s) of the person(s) involved
- Specific chat room where the violation occurred
- Date and approximate time of the incident
- Detailed description of what happened
- Screenshots or logs if available (without editing or alteration)
- Any additional context that may be relevant
6.3 False Reports
Filing false, malicious, or frivolous reports wastes moderation resources and may itself constitute harassment. Users who repeatedly submit bad-faith reports may face enforcement actions including warnings, suspensions, or bans.
7. Safety and Well-Being
7.1 Personal Safety
While we work to maintain a safe environment, users should take precautions to protect themselves:
- Never share personal information such as your real name, address, phone number, school, workplace, or financial information
- Don't share social media profiles or other external accounts
- Be cautious about sharing photos or videos that could reveal identifying information
- Don't arrange to meet people from the chat in real life
- Use strong, unique passwords and enable available security features
- Log out when using shared or public computers
7.2 Mental Health Resources
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to professional resources:
- National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255 (24/7)

A Big Chat welcomes users from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and viewpoints. We encourage:

- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of different communication styles
- Willingness to learn from others' experiences and viewpoints
- Disagreeing respectfully without attacking individuals personally
Having strong convictions or engaging in debate is acceptable, but discussions must remain respectful and within the bounds of these guidelines.
9. Age Verification and Eligibility
A Big Chat is restricted to users 18 years of age and older. We employ age verification measures and may request additional documentation if there is reason to believe a user does not meet eligibility requirements.
Misrepresenting your age to gain access is a serious violation that will result in immediate and permanent account termination. If you suspect a user is underage, please report this information to moderators or staff immediately.
10. Limitations and Disclaimers
While we implement multiple safeguards and actively moderate the Platform, we cannot prevent all instances of misconduct or guarantee a completely risk-free environment. Users should exercise personal judgment and caution when interacting with others online.
